    LEA seeks collaboration with NFTRC

    National Food Technology Research Centre (NFTRC) on Wednesday hosted Local Enterprise Authority (LEA) representatives who made a presentation on the implementation of the Kutla Pilot Incubation Programme.

    The duo of Mr Lekgotla Kgaswanyane and Mr Molefhi Basutli also sought an opportunity for collaboration with NFTRC on training and capacity development as well as benchmarking

    Mr Kgaswanyane said the LEA business incubators provide – maximum two years, a shared premises, capital equipment, business and technical services, as well as access to finance, including venture capital and business networks on a temporary basis.

    He said LEA would like NFTRC to train their identified clients on food processing, product testing as well as impart research information to LEA clients.

    At the end it was agreed that LEA should draft a framework of collaboration on products development for NFTRC to make valuable contribution.
