    NFTRC welcomes new employees

    National Food Technology Research Centre last week welcomed six new Assistant Research Scientists (Food Technology).

    The six are: Mr Willie Marenga, Mr Lame Ramaloto, Mr Mogomotsi Matopote, Ms Matlhogonolo Ntutu, Ms Refilwe Segwati, and Ms Kelly Maxala who are Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology graduates of the Botswana College of Agriculture.

    They said prior to coming to NFTRC, they were either graduate interns, working on temporary basis, staying at home or engaged in volunteer work.

    They said they joined NFTRC to utilise the skills and knowledge they gained from class as well as to advance and develop in the field of food science and technology.

    The team said they are bringing in innovative ideas that NFTRC could invest its research in as well as support other researchers for notable achievement.

    The team said they hope to enjoy their stay at NFTRC and are looking forward to new challenges and experiences.
