  • Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO): Strengthening Food Safety in Botswana- From Farm to Fork. The main aim of this Project was to assist Botswana in strengthening its food control system in order to improve consumer protection by ensuring the safety and quality of the food supply. Co-Principal Investigator. Project approved in February 2006

Awards/Achievements
  • Won The Mendel Stein Food Science Prize Award as the student obtaining the highest mark for a Dissertation in Food Microbiology in the final year of the Bachelor of Science degree course at the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom.
  • Short listed in July 2000 for the UK award scheme, the Science, Engineering and Technology Student of the year ("Oscars" of British Technology Education)
